fyds Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 According to BBC R5 and SSN tonight. Just the fee to sort out with Brondby now it's reckoned.
Guest Kev Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 What Wednesday, this one just gone or coming ?
fyds Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 What Wednesday, this one just gone or coming ?1141083Sorry about the delay Kev - this one just gone - they said his agent was at Anfield yesterday (Thursday) to finalise the personal end of things.
Nerik Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Great stuff. Rafa's sofa from the January sales sorted.
Eiler99 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 The £5.5m being reported would make him the most expensive player ever sold by a Danish club.
Red_Rob Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I suppose it's inevitible that we'll end up singing Aggadoo. Thought we'd seen the back of that after Diouf left.
Stevie H Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 The £5.5m being reported would make him the most expensive player ever sold by a Danish club.1141095 really? blimey.
Ronnie Whelan Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 He might be a good business man but he has never once tried to close a deal worth more than 50 million danish kroner.... he will look like an outright amateur to the team from LFC...1141218 That could well be made into a discussion. Some would argue that Parry lacks negotiational skills.
Jezzman Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 That could well be made into a discussion. Some would argue that Parry lacks negotiational skills.1141241 Yeah I know but he has tried it before which is more than you can say about the Dane
Eiler99 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 really? blimey.1141236 I think the most expensive player was Christian Poulsen when FC Copenhagen sold him to Schalke in 2002. The fee was undosclosed but believed to be around £4m. Ebbe Sand was signed by Schalke from Brøndby in 1999 for around £3.2m which was a record fee at the time. So £5m or £5.5m would make Agger the most expensive player sold by a danish club unless I've forgotten someone.
psl Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 His name is Christian Poulsen. His name is Christian Poulsen. His name is Christian Poulsen.

Bailo Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Don't look back in Agger1141539I've got a good one: Agger-do Could it catch on?
JimmyF Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Lets cut out agger-o boys, it should be concluded shortly
anny road Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 he has not Agger-eed to come as he has Agger-ophobia
Guz Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Why do clubs allow a player to agree terms with a club before they accept a fee for him?
JimmyF Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 he has not Agger-eed to come as he has Agger-ophobia1141569Such news would be like a d-agger thru my heart
Gomez Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Why do clubs allow a player to agree terms with a club before they accept a fee for him?1141576 Presumably because they know they close and a deal will soon be agreed. Maybe they've agreed the fee and are discussing the payment schedule or something.
