On the replay of Cisse's goal you can see Gerrard wheel away to the right (with CIsse heading to the left to celebrate) past the Everton fans behind the goal, before turning around and sprinting over to the other celebrating players.

I really really really wanted Gerrard to do what he did a few seasons ago at the pit, run the length of the pitch with his hand to his ear, tongue stuck out before reaching our fans. Class

ha ha ha, lovely job

sure he had a smile wider than the mersey in the post match interview with sky, then Carra just topped it off in true scouse style while handing the champers to Stevie

"well played lad" im not from england hence why it was so funny, he`s the stereotypical scouser, f***ing hilarious :lol:

You can get the Echo that far out of town.

Are the post match interviews available anywhere to download? The pub switched the f***ing jukebox on as soon as the match finished.

Quite similar to the time he scored that thunderbolt at the Pit a few years back and wheeled away with his finger up to his ear (taunting the blues****). quality stuff.

I may be a woolie, but it seriously is great when pool beat everton. However it seems from my out-of town-view that during the 3-4 last years that it has become much, MUCH become more bitter vs everton. Note: that is only my opinion and i am a wee tad drunk and stuff so i may be wrong. The bitterness is more on the everton side tha the pool side, as it would be expected. I am drunk and I should be excused if wrong be on this post , though. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh.l

it coimcides with us getting back on track - ie when Houllier started winning trophies and they were still s****, the bitterness started to get worse.....

There has always been an undercurrent of nastiness surrounding the derby, ever sicne I can remember....I was telling Sutty a story of when we played them in the cup in 87 (?) when Ray Houghton scored the winner at Goodison, I stood on the Glwadis Street and there were Liverpool scraves being burned.

The neutrals saw the 84 League cup final, and the 86 & 89 FA Cup finals and thought it was freindly, and on those days it mainly was.......

But in and around those games there has always been mither.....

But us winning the CL and the slime going really s*** made this derby particularly bad..it eats at them, and they cant take it

my mate is an australian, he still hasn't apologised, who follows the a*** but he truly hates the bitters and reckons alot of his footie watching 'oz' pals do too - seeing them as horrible racists, the irony of this is lost on my 'oz' pal ;)
