It's just been confirmed that Bolton cancelled their fixture as all available resources were being used to thaw out Big Sam's Even Bigger Head, so the pitch was left vulnerable to the weather.

you would think that the PL would require its teams to ALL have a system of protecting the pitch.

 

there'll be no winter break until the PL reduces the number ot teams.

All 10 of them, yup.

 

Bit of a shambles it got called off so late though. If the pitch was able to be cleared and played on why were fans allowed to travel to the game on dangerous roads before the game called off? Big c**k up by someone.

Reckon the Newcastle game might have got called off for other reasons... ie give the players a rest!
