Nerik Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Talk in Italy of a player plus cash deal. Juve offering Zalayeta+Oliveira+7m Euros for Joaquin.............
The Hitman Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 That's not much is it?Has his price-tag dropped dramatically?
SkippyjonJones Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 could be - Betis at the bottom of the league, no CL footie for them etc
DGMO Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 That's not much is it?Has his price-tag dropped dramatically? Not advancing in the CL and struggling in the relegation zone in La Liga probably means they can no longer ask for the £25m they so badly wanted. I think £10m-£12m is more realistic now.
anfield Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 If betis get relegated are those guys gonna want to go there?
Ombudsam Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 no fair. They've got that camoranesi and he's a player
galés rojo Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 no fair. They've got that camoranesi and he's a player1128686 Player of what? not football,he's s***.
chrisbonnie Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 i always that camoranesi was pretty decent but f*** that, if his price tag has dropped to 12, surely we should sign him
George Costanza Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 never been impressed with Cameronesi. Reminds me a bit of Houghton only not as good. Not sure a move to Italy would suit Joaquin either.
CarraLegend Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Player of what? not football,he's s***.1128719 Is he b******s. He's a quality player. Regular in Juve and Italys team he must be doing something right.
Hassony Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Is he b******s. He's a quality player. Regular in Juve and Italys team he must be doing something right.1128730Materazzi is also a regular for the itaialn team, still s*** though
CarraLegend Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Materazzi is also a regular for the itaialn team, still s*** though1128731 Is he? Who's he keeping out then Nesta or Cannavarro?
madaboutlfc Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Is he? Who's he keeping out then Nesta or Cannavarro?1128735Cannavaro has injury problems. Oliviera is a decent player though.

CarraLegend Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 (edited) 1128749 Whats that for? I asked you a simple question. You say Materazzi is a regular for the Italian National team so i'm wondering who he's keeping out, Nesta or Cannavarro. I didn't think it was that difficult a question Edited December 27, 2005 by CarraLegend
galés rojo Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Don't think moving to Italy would be good for Joaquin. Serie A hasn't been kind to Spanish players in the last few years. Mendieta,De la Pena,Jose Mari all had a pretty bad time.

I didn't think it was that difficult a question1128752carregher is a regular in the england team, he doesn't keep terry, ferdinand or campbell out of the team (even though he is better than all of them) materazzi has been in the italian squad for the past 4-5 years and gets his fair share of games, even though nesta and cannavaro are the first choice pairing IMO Cameronesi, from what i have seen of him, is very over rated, and playing for juventus (like zabina, tudor, del peiro) and italy (like metarazzi) doesn't mean that he is a good player
CarraLegend Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 even though nesta and cannavaro are the first choice pairing 1128776 So he isnt a regular in the Italian team like you first said then? I also didnt say it makes Camoranesi a good player just because he gets in the Juve and Italy team, I said it must mean he's doing something right. I've seen with my own eyes what he's like and I think he's a good player.
Maldini Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Camoranesi is a great player IMO, never stops running and one of the best crossers of a ball in Europe.

I'd be surprised if we havent made a cheeky enquiry over the last 6 months or so. Edited December 27, 2005 by CarraLegend
Nerik Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 Zalayeta+Oliveira+7m equates to more than 12m.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Camoranesi is a great player IMO, never stops running and one of the best crossers of a ball in Europe.1128784 he has a bit of the baros over him though. often runs into dead alleys for the heck of it. he's good and has that rare ability to play outside the pace of the game, but there are many better.
CaptainXabi Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Zalayeta+Oliveira+7m equates to more than 12m.1128843It's 7m Euro. I'd equate the total package to 20m Euro or approximately, 13-14m Pounds. I dunno, for that price I think Joaquin is worth a shout even if he blows hot and cold, etc, etc.
Nerik Posted December 28, 2005 Author Posted December 28, 2005 Yeah in the region of 15m Stg is what I was thinking. Still would be a record signing for us!

Particularly if their not the type of players the manager wants. £10-12m and a make weight like Josemi would do it. I would certinley rather we got Joaquin to Simao.
