Since Cobs mate was in charge in the 80's has a strike ever actually worked and forced the employers to meet the unions demands.

 

I cant remember one, the staff suffer cos they lose wages, the public suffer cos they lose services and the company suffers next to nothing apart from bad PR cos of Cob's mates strike laws

 

It all just seems so pointless to me, I do accept we all should have rights as employees, look at what Rentokill have just done with pensions, can you imagine being a 55 year old who had 40 years service in working for them ?

 

what is the best way in the modern world to force an employer to listen to its staff, is it still strike action and if it is can any of you remember a time when strike action has worked in the last decade
