Disgraceful that this sh ite is what passes for serious commentary on football culture in a broadsheet newspaper.

(And there's nothing funny about "Get your face out for the lads!" Nothing at all!)

Eichmann was picked up in Argentina as I remember (not to mention the thread on it a while back).

Liddle is an utter ponce who thinks he's funny. If you've read more than one of his articles it becomes aparent he knows f*ck all about the game and was almost certianly one of those little schits who was last picked and then kicked to f*ck. He's getting his own kicks now by pretending to be a real supporter rather than the Cymrococh=Paul Caruso=Davo=Poof lookalike gobschite that he is.

Utterly, utterly disgusting.

Glorying in the worst elements of English football culture, pandering to the small minded bigots, poking fun at the third world, laughing at racist insults. paying lipservice to anti Islamic incitement.

Everything that shames me about the land of my birth is represented by that article. I'm shocked that such rubbish made it to print, even in The Times.

Offensive tripe. Says everything you need to know about Millwall and Ingerlund fans.

How can they employ somebody with such limited ability and call it journalism? I don't go in for PC but this garbage isn't even funny.

The rest of the ST sports section is usually worth a read and their rugby (which is great Macca) coverage is excellent.

For some reason they've devoted a tiny portion of the section each week to this c*nt which is a bit like using a turd as a stirrer in someone's champagne cocktail.

He is a nasty nasty scumbag who obviously knows nothing about football. The "Well speak to a Torquay fan if you think that's gutting" argument is the most stupid in the world - as if supporting football is rational.

:D

I dislike the Times with a passion, it's opinionated lobbox - dunno about the sports bits - and I mean it when I say it's the S*n with big words
