Benitez Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Marca reporting it and saying he's had a medical for Real Madrid.

galés rojo Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 can't see him going to Spain,i reckon Bolton is the best bet.
Guest Red Mist Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Real Madrid have got to be out of their minds. But then, we've known that for a while now. What good can a washed-up, egotistical, has-been offer the Galacticos? The Real fans want pretty players like Zidane and Robinho, not hatchet men with little technical ability and zero flair, like Keane. Old Keano is going to get slaughtered by the Real fans, and I will join them in spiting him!

He is not a flair player by any means, but to say no ability is ridiculous, the c*** is a great footballer, the best midfielder over here for years.

stressederic Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I can't imagine the Real Madrid dressing room will make room for yet another ego.
Bootle Buck Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I think Keane's ability is a little overstated at times. In the past few weeksthe media has made it sound like he won the trophies in the 90's single-handedly. He's passed his box to box days so I see him becoming somewhat frustrated and Real Madrid's slackness will do his head in. He's be kicking the shet out of anything in sight. Utd will do well to snag Graveson. They need him.
Tosh Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Keane can go there and sit infront of the back 4 to replace Makelele We all know the pace of the game is slower there which will suit his hips Good move all round, if you ask me. They'll need to keep Graveson though. They'll need cover when Keane is suspended
anny road Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 graveson is going back to everton1111426 bet he goes to United
CarraLegend Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 bet he goes to United1111437 Hopefully, he was s**** for the majority of his time at Everton.
Armin_Tamzarian Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 What good can a washed-up, egotistical, has-been offer the Galacticos? 1111080 Is Ferguson going to be their new manager? Beckham will be delighted.
Mike Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 bet he goes to United1111437 graveson? nah.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Hopefully, he was s**** for the majority of his time at Everton.1111442 he was one of the top three midfielders in the league the seasn he left. He's quality.

Maldini Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 He was s*** for Everton when they played him as a defensive midfielder, he was better in his last season when he played a more advanced role with Carsley in behind him.

Ombudsam Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Them signing Keane reminds me of us signing Ince and believing that one player was going to turn around the whole shytehouse culture of a club because they tackled and shouted a bit.

Not Danish by any chance are you?1111640 He's never been a holding midfielder like he's been playing at Real. He's always been quality when allowed to roam forwards.
RedMarauder Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 If Keane signs for anyone other than Celtic it just sums the bloke up totally. He is extremely rich, he has won pretty much everything with Man U, he is only going to be on a short term contract with whichever club he plays for.He has said previously that he wants to end his career at his boyhood club Celtic. So here we are Roy, tailend of your career, no tied contract to any club, being able to pick any club you choose. Oh and you're very rich! 3 Options1)What are you going to do Roy, take the £100K+ at Real where most fans think you're too old and where they have consistently missed out on the big trophies despite the 'galactico's policy?2) Are you going to stick to a League you know and get another fat pay cheque at Everton or Bolton or a.n other, and get more Haaland type revenge, despite saying you could never play for anyone but Utd?3) Will you take a modest £20k and play for your boyhood club Celtic, where they will love you and your shocking loss of pace will not be noticed? Tricky one isn't it?
Coyler Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 If Keane signs for anyone other than Celtic it just sums the bloke up totally.1111790Roy Keane in Word Break SHOCKER?
Maldini Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 If Keane signs for Real I'm gonna stick a few quid on them for the league. He's EXACTLY the player they need, they're only 6 points behind Barca and Xavi, the brains of the Barca team is out for 6 months. It's going to be an interesting few months in Spain.
