Guest Mottman Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 HJC bands on E-Bay... The idea of the bands is two fold [1] To try and create more awareness for the fight for justice and [2] To try and raise much needed funds to help run the HJC. The HJC don't want anyone to put bands on the likes of E-Bay, even if the proceeds are donated to the HJC. Nobody should pay more that the going rate. E-Bay have been contacted to see if they can put a "stop" on anyone submitting HJC bands either individually or with proceeds to the HJC? If anyone visit's E-Bay and see's a HJC band for auction. please feel free to contact them and ask them to "remove" the auction and refer any of the bidders to this thread. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=7137994160 Thank you.
RP Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 You could always put them on E-Bay with "Buy It Now" as the only option - means that no-one would pay more than the fixed asking price.

Guest Mottman Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Now twelve bids can't people read :spider-neil2: Some can? I look after the e-mails and orders on the HJC yahoo account. A lot of orders have been generated because of posts like this.
Lee W Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Lee, it's already been done mate here is what I sent. "Can I ask what you intend to do wth any profit that you may make from the sale of the HJC bands? I suggest you donate it to the Hillsborough Justice Campaign or you may find your E-Bay account suddenly suspended for irregular tradng. Robbie Ashcroft Hillsborough Justice Campaign" Also contacted each of the bidders with the URL on how to purchase HJC bands for £1.00 plus post and packing. If anyone else would like to keep an eye on E-Bay and resond accordingly, any help would be very much appreciated. Nice one Robbie - I'll try and keep an eye out myself.
SKITTLE Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I've just checked out some of the 'owlarses' selling on E bay. Four of the recent bands have been 'withdrawn'.There is still one on there with four days to go but I suspect it will be withdrawn soon.
Guest ThePoeticEdge Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Im afraid this one is up to sixty quid. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW But, on the lighter side it looks like it's just that one and another one on there at the moment. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW Though the second one does claim to be donating all profits to the HJC. I don't have an ebay registration as I am under 18 but anyone who does and would like to attempt to discourage people from buying either of these-particularly the 60 quid one- would have my thanks. Lee W Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Sent sellers specific questions as to their intentions from the profits they are making.
SKITTLE Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 There's a few more on RAWK that are/have been dealt with.
Lee W Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Well in SKITTLE - they'll get one more question from me, else it's negative feedback time.
SKITTLE Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Clear on e bay lately, have been keeping an eye on it.
