Now some of you I know aren't Bellamy fans due to his attitude, but surely you can acknowledge he is a good, if not a great player? He has more pace than any of our currently fit players and is proven in Europe(depending on whether or not he can play in the CL, he hasn't played in it this year but does the UEFA Cup count?). If you look at Chelsea and ManUre, they would often play a 4-3-3 type formation, with Robben and Duff switching right and left and being wingers come strikers. Surely this formation would work well for us if we purchased Craig(goin for £4million I hear, surely we can afford that), with Morientes as a central striker and Bellamy and Baros providing as much service as they can from out the wings, also, Biscan and Gerrard both love to play it up the wings so it would give them better options. Lets bear in mind that Rafa will be able to sort out his attitude as he spent years with the usually 'fiesty' Aimar and the two got on really well, so hopefully he can form a good relationship with Craig when/if he comes. Your thoughts please......

 

Plus I do know liverpoolfc.tv reported an official statement that we would not be approaching Bellamy, but aren't all transfers usually denied at first? We have to act quick though, the windows closes on Monday....

The only other player the club have denied interest in is Pennant. all the others have been allowed to rattle around. For a 4-3-3, the best players within the club would be Kewell, Morientes and either Vladi or Garcia, although Kewell, Morientes and Milan could do it if the midfield sat deep.
