Red_Rob Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 They claim we want to do a cut-price deal before the transfer deadline on Monday. I'm hoping this is just some journo grasping at straws as I'd hate to see him join us.
drdooom Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 (edited) Well, he's small, quick, welsh, he'd be the perfect Owen replacement. Only difference is that Bellamy likes us. To me: Edited January 26, 2005 by drdooom
magneto Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Well, he's small, quick, welsh, he'd be the perfect Owen replacement. Only difference is that Bellamy likes us. To me: I would LOVE this transfer. He is Peter Beardsley's long lost son.
Guest Sage Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 I agree on the Peter Beardsly comparison.... plus i am not supprised souy has fallen out with him ...
CaptainXabi Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Great, that's RM settled then... He's not better than what we've got up front. Unless we're signing him to make a profit.
Guest Snowy Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Buy Bellamy? Who in their right mind wants this t*** in their squad? He is not a team-player...plain and simple. You gotta have players with the right attitude... It doesn`t matter what they are capable of, as long as they are putting themselves in front of the team. This one and Anelka being the prime examples. f***ing idiots quite frankly.
Jon Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 If, and it's a bloody big IF, we sign him then I think we can safely assume that Baros will be a fund raiser in the summer. Not something I'd like to see happen, more the losing of Baros than the signing of Bellamy
magneto Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Bellamy was a red as a kid...give him a chance I say...first a loan then permanent in June. Pongolle is out for the rest of the season (looks like it)..we need a replacement.

Pongolle is out for the rest of the season (looks like it)..we need a replacement. Yep, go along with that and surely Newcatle would. He's a bloody good player no doubt and gives us 4 months to look at the attitude side.... Wots the news on Pongo and how long is he out for?
drdooom Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Bellamy was a red as a kid He still is a kid judging by his behavior. A spoilt one too.
Guest craigj Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Bellamy was a red as a kid...give him a chance I say...first a loan then permanent in June. Pongolle is out for the rest of the season (looks like it)..we need a replacement. Bellamy can fill in at RM & as a striker, nothing wrong with 4 strikers at the club, especially with 1 out for the rest of the season & another prone to hamstring problems. If we do have any money to spend now then a midfielder is a must, my preference is Edu, he is cheap & a class act, he showed this for Arsenal last season when he filled in for the injured PV.
nd Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Don't like Bellamy, he's an injury-prone c**k with a stereotypical spoilt footballer attitude. But a fantastic player, able to cause trouble against *any* defence in the Premiership.
pjwy Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 We have to realise that we have just lost another strike option last night in Pongo who we may not see again this season.Bellamy is a very good player..he may appear a bit of a t*** as someone above puts it but if our manager can handle that then he'd be a superb addition..or should we just try to soldier on with a half fit Mori..a threequarter fit Baros..and Niel Mellor?? pj.
abc Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Pace + movement off the ball + decent finisher. Like pj said, injury crisis is literally crippling our options up front. Beggars can't be choosers. Sides, he's a very good player. Opportunity for him to grow up if he comes to LFC...
Swan Red Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Bellamy can fill in at RM Is that not why he spat his dummy at Newcastle?
Cunny Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 decent finisher. you are joking aren't you? he couldn't finish his breakfast
DazzlaJ Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 He is a t*** of the highest order Vile, horrid, c***
abc Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 you are joking aren't you? he couldn't finish his breakfast 7 league goals in 21 starts isn't all that bad. That's why I said decent.
Cunny Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 he's decent at instinctive finishes when he does not have to think about it.he is woeful at one on ones when he has time. which considering his game is based on using his pace to get behind the back four is a major deficiency.7 goals he may have but he has missed at least the same again in positions when he should have scored. oh and he's a horrible little c**t of a t**t!
Gravy Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 He's not cup tied in the CL either. He's cup-tied in Europe with the UEFA.
