Begbie Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Go strongish, we've a week before our next league game. Play Quansah, Endo. Harvey and give Bradley as long as he's able to play
Swipe Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Don’t think he’ll rest many at all. Some might get dropped. But you’ve an FA cup game after where you can rest whoever you want really.
Cobs Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Cup SF - go strong, go there and win big. Kill the tie. play the kids v Accrington 3
Gethin Posted January 5 Posted January 5 The defence is the issue here. Both Trent and Robbo need a rest & you probably don't want to play Ibou for 90 either.
Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Hope Dom is back for this after his performance last time. Front 6 picks itself.
Nerik Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Kelleher Trent Quansah Virg Tsiki Elliot Endo Szobo Chiesa Jota Nunez Bring on Konate, Jones and Bradley at some point. Chiesa will definitely need replacing too.
Cam Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Trent Trent Trent Trent Trent Trent Trent Trent Trent Trent Trent Sub off Trent and bring on Trent. Don't bother taking any other players. And make him drive his own bloody missus. 2

Gethin Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Just now, Sir Tokyo Sexwale said: including trent I know you're taking the piss but Bradley needs at least 30 v Spurs and the start against Accrington to get back sharp again.
Benzo-13 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Kelleher, Bradley, Quansah, Konate, Tsimikas, Endo, Mac Allister, Elliott, Chiesa, Nunez and Jota. use everyone else in case of emergency.
ThewaytoRome Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Kelleher Bradley quansah virg tsmikas Jones macallister szobozlai gakpo Diaz Jota
Swipe Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I think he might go full strength but rotate the full backs. Maybe rest grav, actually. Jota will surely start but not counting him as a backup.
Cheesecake Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Kelleher Bradley Quansah Endo Tsimikas Jones Elliott Dom Nunez Chiesa Danns

Case Posted January 6 Posted January 6 7 hours ago, Cheesecake said: Kelleher Bradley Quansah Endo Tsimikas Jones Elliott Dom Nunez Chiesa Danns Why bother making the effort to get to the SF? 1
Case Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Kelleher. I’d play Trent and give him Accrington off. Same with Virg. Start Quansah, give Konate minutes if possible. Start Tsimikas, Robbo last 20 if needed. Grav, Mac A, Szoboszlai if fit, otherwise Elliott. The first 2 not needed v Accrington Salah, Jota, Diaz - Gakpo needs a rest. I’d have started Nunez, but Jota needs a start, so maybe Nunez/Chiesa on 60. Kill the tie in the first leg. Rest players around the Bournemouth/Wolves/City games.

Roscoe Posted January 6 Posted January 6 This, is at the moment, is the trophy we are closest to and Arne will want to win a pot in his first season
Cheesecake Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Its also one that very few people actually care about, sure its nice to win but if its the only thing we win this season then its hardly a mark of success. There are many first team players currently being played a lot - rest then now or risk knackering them?
McBain Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Kelleher Bradley Quansah VVD Tsimikas Endo Elliott Szob (if over the sniffles) Gakpo Jota Chiesa

There’s a run of games over the next few weeks that give opportunities to play the squad a bit more. We have 9, possibly 10 games over the next 5 weeks but only 4 are in the league.
