Pick the XI for Arsenal. Rest all of them. Pick an XI from the rest of the squad for this game. There’s a League title to be won.

Second XI for this one please

I want any outfield player who plays Arsenal to be nowhere near this.

I'll bite here

Exactly what team are you proposing playing given that Ali, Bradley, Elliott, Jota & Chiesa are all out or doubtful?

OK - Im hoping Bradley and Chiesa are fit and obv the keeper is Kelleher, but something like

Kelleher

Bradley-Gomez-Quansah-Tsimikas

Endo

Szoboslai-Morton

Chiesa-Nunez-Diaz

as strong as we can with a bit of normal rotation, the quicker we can qualify the better and hopefully we can make more changes later in the group stage.

When was the last time we started a player that wasn't fit for the previous game 4 days before? It's probably happened but it's rare.

There's no chance we go that weak for a CL game when we haven't qualified yet, that's more like the team for Brighton in the League Cup. Reckon we'll change 3 or 4 max.

Their forward line is really good. Openda has about 45 G/A since the start of last season. Sesko is an excellent 9 and i'm a big fan of Simons

Given a draw is fine i'd probably look to rotate further forward and stay strong defensively. Gomez in at the back, Nunez upfront. Gakpo and Dom stay in because i'd not start them v Arsenal

I read this as you being a fan of people called Simon. Haven't woken up properly yet evidently 😄

I have appreciated an occasional Simon, here and there

Yeah agree, although I'd give Robbo a break. Play Endo and save Grav and Mac for Arsenal. Give Nunez game time with Gakpo and save Diaz

Did we find out what's up with Bradley?

Not that I've seen. Neither him or Chiesa was mentioned as an issue pre-Chelsea and Slot aludes to TAA not being 100% and Mac Allister being ill here

If Trent's not 100% I'd be tempted to play Gomez at RB and change Quansah for Konate. Tsimi starting's probably a good idea too

Midfield and forwards rather depend on who's fit.

Think MacAllister will start. Probably Virgil too.

Play the team and then play them v Arsenal and then play the two of you v Brighton.

I don’t think they need the protection levels that are often assumed they do. Rhythm is also a thing.

Yeah, that’s Rodgers Madrid weak.

I'm going to be on a plane for some of this one and then at a conference for the Arsenal game.

So if we could just win them both in as simple a manner as possible that'll help me a lot.
