Think they're saying top 8 (and hence avoiding the extra round in Feb) would be 15-18 points, which should be our focus. Winning the next two would also be a big statement of intent.

All the computer simulations (I need to have a f***ing look at my life, honestly FFS) they did in the summer pointed to 16 points being enough to qualify for the second stage without playoff.

Being able to rest for the two extra games will be key when we're knackered after xmas. Use the PSV game to bed in the new signings

does anyone know if position after 8 games has any affect? Like is 1st better than 5th? Is 5th better than 8th? Aside from prize money?
