Falconhoof Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Its on Prime. Harvey, Darwin and Fred Church have probably earned a start but I doubt they all will. Slot likes a settled side.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Lille are 8th so no mugs. We'll want to make sure so I expect a strong side. Do Virge & Mo get a rest for PSV assuming we're 100% through then?
Duncan Disorderly Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Anyone here that's going, I hope you don't bump into a short-haired, big glipe with a mad beard and a mouth on him like a Belfast docker. That's my son. 2
Alonso Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Alisson bradley quansah virg robbo jones endo elliot salah Nunez chiesa Then get robbo salah and virg off in the second half
Swipe Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Would rest virg, grav and Salah at least Starts for Elliot and Nunez. And jones. Not sure he’ll do all that mind. Edited January 18 by Swipe 1

Cheesecake Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Kelleher should start given Ali is number 1 for the league games, I hope Virg gets the night off too. 1

Swipe Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Yeah was interesting that. Would explain why he hasn’t been quite himself since coming back.

Conrad Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I'd go strong-ish but give Mo a few days off Kelleher Bradley-Konate-VVD-Tsimikas Gravenberch Jones Elliott Chiesa Nunez Diaz 1

Case Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Kelleher Konate Quansah Robbo (c) Endo Jones Elliott Chiesa Nunez Nghoma Subs

Looks to me like we’ve had him slim down to lighten the load on his muscles. But as you say it seems to have made him appear a bit frail.
YugoB Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Rotate everyone and their mother, although Lille have been quite good in Europe so far
McBain Posted January 19 Posted January 19 There doesn't seem any extra value in finishing first or 8th, other than prestige, which while important shouldn't be our main focus. I think the fee for winning each game is big too, but also, not the main priority. We could get first and play Madrid, or finish 8th and get Feyenoord I'd rotate a lot, and if it means we stumble to a draw, so be it

PaulMcC186 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I reckon Salah is desperate to play every Champions league game. Managers probably can't be bothered persuading him that resting is better than going for another goalscoring record.
