Nebraska Red Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Nothing to see here, move along please. Not much need for a motivational speaker.
Cheesecake Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Beat the dross, win the league. 3 points please Red Men.
PaulMcC186 Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Apparently Sunday is the first time since 2017 Man City haven't been bookies favourites to win a match.
YugoB Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Batter them, but any win will do. Arsenal have a winnable run of games, so the more we can keep our distance the better, especially as we have two away matches following this. I hope Konate is ok, but the injury aside, Slot is going to have to rotate him a bit with these games, can't expect that he can keep playing 3 games a week. The same with Robbo, I wonder if Gomez will start instead. Honestly I'd keep the same midfield, and bring Dom later on like we did tonight.

I think Szoboszlai was rested for City knowing there's not a drop off to the two he's competing with. But I now think he probably won't start considering how good the midfield was.
D.Boon Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Id start the same midfield as last night. Give Mac the freedom to get at them.
Gethin Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Would be very surprised if Trent was ready to start if he was only good for 5-10 mins last night
stressederic Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Absolutely into them from the off. They’ll fold if we get the breakthrough. Nunez is scoring in this one. 2
Cunny Posted November 28 Posted November 28 even without possible injuries to Bradley and Konate, I reckon Trent and Dom were always starting this one 1

Hoping Robbo and or Kostas can do the left side but it might be Gomez starting on the Right side and maybe Quansah along side Virg.
Gethin Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Yeah unless the news about Bradley or Konate is better than it looks, then the back 5 will have to be Kelleher Gomez Quansah Virg Robbo Robbo doing 3 in a week is a big ask, so hopefully Trent is good for 30-35 with Robbo coming off & Joe moving over to the left side.
Jarg Armani Posted November 28 Posted November 28 I reckon Trent is fine. Ali as well. Who knows though.
Gethin Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Apparently Slot's doing his presser at 3pm today rather than tomorrow - so it's unlikely we're gonna get any meaningful team news out of it.
Hassony Posted November 28 Posted November 28 They'll come for a 0-0 Get an early goal and it'll be a complete riot

Romario Posted November 28 Posted November 28 We're arguably the most in form team in the world right now. Nice isn't it! 1
Jarg Armani Posted November 28 Posted November 28 As always I just hope the other team are their crappest selves and we get to swan our way to an easy win. If City are as bad as they've been recently it won't matter that much that Ibou is missing.
