Falconhoof Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Not sure what level to expect from newcastle. They beat Forest and Arsenal in November, but also lost to West Ham. Not an easy game.
Cam Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Part three of five in our bid to cleanse the game of money-laundering cheats: Madrid, City, Newcastle, Everton and Girona all back-to-back. 4

BigBird Posted December 1 Posted December 1 From the Newcastle Forum, next match thread. More gay-rape jeopardy than a football forecast. This is going to be like watching 11 suicide cases trying to fight two tigers and a polar bear. Annoyingly I think a few players will show up for this, but it will be to no avail after Liverpool are given a ridiculous decision. Time to lube up. 1-5 Liverpool A royal bumming. We will perform better here than we did against Palace or West Ham. We are generally fine against teams that want to play football against us, we will see at least a few of those valuable attacking transitions that this team was built for. We'll probably win since we're the underdogs. Realistically, a 0-3 c**k f***ing is on the cards. Just get the feeling we’re gonna get absolutely dicked. They're too consistent these days and we usually do poorly against them anyway. Can't see anything but a convincing loss. I was gonna ask will Liverpool go in raw or at least provide lube. Least they could do. 0-6 and our goalkeeper will ask for a transfer after the game Hate this fixture even when we’re playing well. It’s like they have a curse over us and it feels like we’re never going to beat them ever again no matter how well we play against them. Coupled with how s*** we’re playing at the minute, I can’t see anything but a hammering. If Isak is fit then I think he needs to stick with the same starting XI again to try and get some continuity going. It's a side well suited to counters which is what we'll likely play. Gordon has been doing my nut in for the last 2 games but if there's a game he's going to perform in then it's this one - I fancy him against Robertson as well. If it's another no-show then drop him on the weekend. Hopefully, Joe & Jo have proper boots on. If they're on form then they could really help to lock down their right. still not fully over this fixture last season . we had them where we wanted them and they were there for the taking . Miggy hitting the woodwork twice was so unlucky, including Alisson save of the season . needed that second goal to kill them. probably never have as good an opportunity to smash them and now feels like they could smash us. Think just avoiding getting massacred is a good result. Would be happy with 0-2. Gonna get dry humped up the tea-towel holder by these bin-dipping, scummy f***s Oddly enough, this is just about the perfect time to play them. They are smashing everyone, no one is going to expect us to get anything, no pressure on the players. They should relish the opportunity to make the critics eat their words. But Isak seems the only one who can score goals against them so unless Howe is ready to unleash Wilson, the lads might not fancy it as much as they could do. Even if we were a good, their attack is frightening. We are gonna get bummed. Comment: f***ing hell lads, Southampton gave them a decent game last week. They’re hardly 1970 Brazil away from home. Response: They won't need to be though. We're weak as piss at the minute. We'll be steamrolled on Wednesday. An early goal and we might just capitulate. Our attitude/mentality is all wrong at present. Conceding that last minute goal yesterday will be so damaging. Please God I'm wrong but I've seen it a hundred times. Yeah, we're going to get humped on Wednesday. Massive gulf in quality. Want to be optimistic, but their pace up top will just destroy our CBs. Coupled with the one twos around our flat midfield, it’s going to be tough. Only success relies on them being off it with finishing and final ball, and us being clinical. Which none of this season points too. They might have to arrest the entire Liverpool team after the game for GBH. I don’t think I want to beat a team more than these, including Sunderland. Comment : Happy with a 0-2, come on man they're not invicible Response: Only one of the best teams in the world, still - they’re no West Ham though. Comment: No one in the Liverpool team scares me bare Salah tbh ,Its our performances that are the problem and i truly think we need to change formation as the 4-3-3 has been worked out i'd even bring back miggy or murphy to give us the energy we lack Response: No but there’s plenty in our team that scare me at the minute

Red Posted December 1 Posted December 1 3pts please, can't be arsed with them. Just put a tick next to the 'done' list and move on. 1
YugoB Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Arne says Kostas will not be available this coming week either. We got 5 defenders available. I wonder if he plays Gomez instead of robbo and Quansah partners Virgil.
