If we have a ref like that yolk today v these then we are going be down to playing the kids in no time.

It’s Oliver with Kavanagh VAR

I f***ing hate this fixture for a variety of reasons. Their fans will be frothing at the mouth, Dyche will be telling them to bust a gut and raise their game against us like they're prime Barcelona. We need a solid first half from the get go.

Oliver can, on certain days, be a half decent referee. He owes us for that COVID debacle, but I'm fully expecting another inconsistent, below par, refereeing performance.

They still ride off the belief they derailed our season last season... Its all they live for... Please don't give them that pleasure again.

It's their Champions League Final, FA Cup Final, League Cup Final, Euro Final and World Cup Final all rolled into one. This is going to be a bitch of a game. If we come away with three points I'll be ecstatic and more pleasurable/vital than the three points we got from Man City. This is without a doubt our worst fixture of the campaign, worse than going to Old Trafford.

Exactly and Pickford will lead the charge with sly antics... Think Nunez should be nowhere near it as can see him getting wound up.

Plus he's s***e

Most definitely, this type of game is not a good fit for him for two big reasons:

1) Temperament, it's gonna require cool heads and composure.

2) The ability to play in tight spaces, Everton are going to park the bus, there is going to be no space for someone like him to exploit in behind the backline.

Shir game, hate the fixture and I'm dreading it, early kick off as well.

We got to be better defensively following tonights game, in duels especially.

Robbo is a concern for me energy wise if he plays. That aside Im worried theyre going to injury our lads.

A win would be a massive boost.

Cant recall Mo scoring there, hopefully he xontinues his form

Wolves are pretty dreadful but that result earlier will give Everton real confidence.

Mind you the form book generally goes out of the window when it comes to this fixture..

Yeah I wasn't sure if he did, would be back in 21/22 right, all I remember from that game is that Jota goal from the wide angle on the left.

Trent was great tonight when he came on, I think having him from the start will help with some of the issues we were having with build up at the back

On another note Diaz hasn't scored in the last 9 league games, he needs a goal. Meanwhile Mo has scored in the last 7 league games.

Be nice to be at it from the off away from home for a change rather than after 45 min.

Yep, sleeves up, win the battle and then the match.

We don't win at Goodison very often. 3 times in the last 9 league derbies there.

I don't like the current fragility in the squad. It feels stretched but hooefully we got something out of the system last night and can reset.

We absolutely need a win though. We can't be giving encouragement to other teams chasing.
