Mac A is suspended for this apparently. Slot said that Ali, Jota and Chiesa were close to fitness for the Everton game, so I wonder if we see some/all of them for this. Hope to see Elliott get some game time in this too

with 6 days off from the Newcastle game, we can go stronger than we would have if the Everton game had gone ahead.

I reckon he'll start strong, try to get the game done by 60 and make a bunch of subs.

Girona aren't in great form and play Real Madrid later today, so if anyone is bored they can do some scouting

If we win we'll be on 18 points, which almost certainly guarantees top 8 and realistically top 3. That will really help in Jan & Feb as we'll avoid the play off round and can also make big changes for the Lille and PSV games. 

Weird quirk of the fixtures this week, 6 of the current top 8 are playing each other (Bayer [6th] v Inter [2nd], Dortmund [4th] v Barca [3rd], Arsenal [7th] v Monaco [8th]) and the other one (Atlanta [5th]) plays Real.

Leverkusen (10) play Inter (13) & Atleti (9)

Arsenal (10 play Monaco (10)

Monaco also play Inter so they have a s*** last 3 games - Arsenal, Villa, Inter - placed 7, 9 & 2

Sporting (10) have it ok

Brest (10) play Madrid & PSV
