Cam Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Everton will be well up for this. Out of the League Cup early. Out of the FA Cup early. Not in Europe. The league title is their last hope of silverware. 4 1
psl Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) Last ever derby at Goodison, under the lights. It will be intense. We need to win and I think we will. Edited February 9 by psl
Gethin Posted February 9 Posted February 9 They played most of their regular starting XI on Saturday whilst most of ours were at home with their feet up. And some of the others were in Plymouth with their feet up Our team pretty much picks itself given who didn't travel Ali Bradley Ibou VVD Robbo Szobo Grav Mac A Mo [one of Diaz, Nunez & Jota] Gakpo

Jim D Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) I'd take a point but a victory would be utopia. Expect Everton in the first half hour to bust a gut, be all over us, physical and in our faces. Don't concede in that first 30 mins then we'll have a chance of winning the game. Our record at theirs is not good in recent times apart from the Mane last minute goal and the 4-1 battering. Plenty of draws, five 0-0 s, exciting stuff. Edited February 9 by Jim D

Nope not yet, but if he starts he needs to be a lot better than he has recently, as I mentioned, I'm not a fan of him playing as a 9 when we're playing against sides that play a low block. He's ineffective in those games.

YugoB Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Have to match their physicality and effort as a bare minimum. Would also help if the officiating isn't as bad as it was last year there.
Swipe Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Is DCL defo out for this? He murdered Konate last season, albeit that was a different Konate.
