Everton will be well up for this.

Out of the League Cup early. Out of the FA Cup early. Not in Europe.

The league title is their last hope of silverware.

Last ever derby at Goodison, under the lights. It will be intense.

We need to win and I think we will.

They played most of their regular starting XI on Saturday whilst most of ours were at home with their feet up. And some of the others were in Plymouth with their feet up :badoomtish:

Our team pretty much picks itself given who didn't travel

Start Darwin.

No way. He'll be booked in the first 10 minutes and be on a tightrope, and we all know what his balance is like.

Start Diaz, he'll be fresh after doing sod all today.

He's incredibly ineffective against low block sides in the position.

I'd take a point but a victory would be utopia. Expect Everton in the first half hour to bust a gut, be all over us, physical and in our faces. Don't concede in that first 30 mins then we'll have a chance of winning the game. Our record at theirs is not good in recent times apart from the Mane last minute goal and the 4-1 battering.

Plenty of draws, five 0-0 s, exciting stuff.

Everton's Cup Final

are you mad?

Nope not yet, but if he starts he needs to be a lot better than he has recently, as I mentioned, I'm not a fan of him playing as a 9 when we're playing against sides that play a low block. He's ineffective in those games.

Win this and break Arsenal hearts.

Win this and its a dagger through the heart for them. For us to go nine clear with the same number of games played would be hugely significant mentally.

Yeah mentioned it afterwards, but the Mane goal sticks out in my mind more than the 4-1.

Have to match their physicality and effort as a bare minimum. Would also help if the officiating isn't as bad as it was last year there.
