They’ve just been spanked by Madrid, their season is over bar the FA Cup and finishing top4

this is a game to demonstrate exactly who we are. Arsenal are probably beating West Ham - header from a corner 1-0, that sort of thing and will be praying we slip up. It’s our hardest game ‘on paper’ left of the season.

Strongest team. Let’s do this.

I think Arsenal is now our hardest game but the rest I agree with.

Interesting/bit weird that Guardiola said in his post match that they will now focus on the PL.

I suppose he meant getting in the CL qualification places.

Not expecting a clean sheet from either side. We havent won there in nearly 10 years and this is a good chance to change that, albeit our defensive stability has gone awol as of late.

Midfield looked out of gas today, Id rotate Gravenberch as he looked way off it. Diaz starts surely, and will see if Jota keeps his place or Cody goes in if hes fit enough.

They got a little better balance in midfield with Gonzalez as the rest of them have lost their legs and physicality in midfield.

Stones went off injured today and they rested Halland completely.

Hoping for a win

Ideally he'd have been rested a bit more prior to this game.

Think we need him in this one tho.

I'm not buying that they rested Haaland, he's clearly injured.

Get him one of those mad pre-workout drinks with >200mg of caffeine and let him go at them

Can see this being a draw at best. We look terrible in defence at the moment and Gravenberch looks like he needs a 6 week holiday.

Shame we have dropped off so much. These draws are going to f*** us up

f***ing Oliver and the injury time from last week, 3 points there and today isnt as disappointing

Don't think the injury time was necessarily the primary issue - we could've managed that time much better and taken it out of Oliver's hands.

Don't disagree that Oliver was keen to give Everton a chance wherever possible throughout the game tho.

Yeah perhaps youre right but that non call on Mo, which woukd have ended the game, and the stupid collision from everton didnt help us at all

This will be like tbe Derby again. A team who are supposed to be sh*t turn out not to be, and play like their lives depend on stopping us.

They look to have gone from s*** to wildly inconsistent. Think we get something.

I expect it will be a score draw because it usually is. You can always go there and end up losing though, they’ve quality players and things happen. Or we might play well and win.

The worry is our defence looks a bit ragged lately. They barely got a sniff at Anfield and Virge took the piss out of Haaland.

They are a funny team this season though so anything could happen.

I s’pose technically it’s hard to disagree with that.
