Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 seen the tweets but nothing on the real internet & nothing from anyone trustworthy hopefully the usual nonsense
Boca Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 There’s definitely something in it unfortunately. Come on Al 2
Stanley Leisure Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 (edited) edit: just saw Boca's post. Edited June 9, 2024 by Stanley Leisure
Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Ah ffs that’s terrible news. Hope he pulls through
stressederic Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Ah that's really sad. It's been noticeable the extent to which he'd faded out of view in the years since he retired from MOTD, but had hoped he was ok after being on stage with Kenny at SPOTY.
muleskinner Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Really f***ing sad this, hope he can pull through. A giant of the club.
Case Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 This is really really sad news. A proper early hero of mine. Hope he pulls through.
Nebraska Red Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 A giant of a player. Hopefully, he pulls through.
PaulMcC186 Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Grim. Must be really bad. Hope he can recover. I thought he'd live til he was about 90. Seen him about 10 years ago and never seen a healthier more handsome fella. 1 1
Tommy Cockles Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Devastating news, a total hero of mine then and now. Was desperate for him to be manager as well. And very classless of the BBC to reference this: Hansen's most memorable moment on MOTD came in 1995 when he famously responded to a Manchester United defeat at Aston Villa by insisting: "You can't win anything with kids." I mean why even bring that up at a time like this? And anyway, as always gets ignored, at the time he was spot on. You didn’t. 1
Gethin Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Just now, Tommy Cockles said: And very classless of the BBC to reference this: Yeah felt the same when I read that. Needless 1

oojason Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Horrible news. Really hope he pulls through and recovers quickly . Not just a brilliant player for us, but one of the all time great defenders.

Wasn’t even really wrong - Utd’s older heads that were missing that day came back into the side. It wasn’t the kids wot wunnit, per se. Cantona especially when he came back from his ban carried them to the title anyway - feck the mancs Get well soon, Jocky. 1
guernseygareth Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Next to Kenny, as a kid, Jocky was my favourite - just above Rushie or Souness as Alan has same birthday as me: June 13. Hoping, praying, wishing for the best. 2
Romario Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Wishing him a speedy recovery. He always looked super healthy so it’s a bit of a shock. Christ he’s only 68.
