Elliot is in for a shout to start but it'll probably be Dom. He was sublime yet again tonight and was absolutely everywhere and never loses the ball. Like never.

God I hope we smash them into oblivion.

Yeah, ideally we beat them so badly that rather than getting revenge in the league game, they're still reeling and are already defeated before they even start against us again.

The 0-5 where all their fans were traipsing out at half time felt great, the thought of thousands of miserable mancs warmed my soul.

More of that please.

Obliterate them. Let their new stadium be built in the crumbs of what’s left.

Excellent sentiments comrade. It reminds me of Conan the Barbarians battle-cry when helping fleet-footed Achilles and wily Odysseus sack the city of Troy;

Crush Man United and see them driven before us. Hear the howling of their dogs, the sobbing of their children and the lamentation of their womenfolk as we slay their army and sell all survivors into slavery.

It's the only way.

Can we do all of this in the first 30 minutes if at all possible please?

Haven't been as confident going there since the 2014 3-0 one with Moyes at the wheel.

I know. It's weird right. Hope we have a plan if they do what they did last time. Kinda why I'd be happy to see Elliot flit in and around their box.

'kin hell, Moyes was there 10 years ago already? Jesus

Yep. 10 years. If we're saying our s*** years started in 91/92 then we are already off the back of the '01 treble, top, challenging, just about to finish 2nd under Houllier / Thomo in '02 (using my s*** years comparison calculator app).

Looking back at the results since Moyes took over, we've been surprisingly mediocre against them.

We're W9 L8 D8 over that run and only the recent stuffings have made that look better.

We have definitely bottled a few visits there

as well as given them the mother of all shellackings

Frustrating one was when we dropped points despite them having to make all their subs in the first half. Seem to remember Bobby having a one on one he messed up at one point.
