ynwa.tv Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Liverpool vs Sparta Prague - Europa League, 14th March @ 8pm
Gethin Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 So just how weak a team would you go with for this? Shame Danns seems to be injured, would be a nailed on start for him otherwise. Reckon Kelleher, Tsimi, Quansah, Clark, McConnell & one of the young forwards start this with a strong bench options just in case
Ombudsam Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 (edited) I really thought this was next week. Good to get it out of the way. What a great training exercise and fitness opportunity. I swear to God if one of you (Macca) mentions mockers in relation to the above I’m gonna proper ellipsis you. Edited March 11, 2024 by Ombudsam
Case Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 The strength of putting out a decent team in the first leg is now showing itself to be a canny idea. For this one, I'd have none of Kelleher, Gomez, Robbo, Mac A, Konate, Endo, Elliott, Nunez, Diaz, Szoboslai starting/playing Adrian, Bradley, Quansah, Nallo, Tsimikas Nyoni (c), McConnell, Clark Gordon, Gakpo, Koumas Some of the big lads on the bench in case of disaster.
Binomial Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Kelleher Bradley Quansah Nallo Kostas Endo Szobo Clark Salah Danns Gakpo Mcconnell and Gordon for Szobo and Salah at HT.
Nebraska Red Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Start some regulars and sub them at halftime. Probably need some input from Dominus as to the exact moment we make the changes to avoid any potential injuries. 1

I don't think we send out that inexperienced a team, even with a 4 goal lead. We'll have first teamers scheduled to be replaced by other first teamers on 45 1

Nebraska Red Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Robertson, Dom and Salah should be starting, and subbed at half time, regardless of the score. They need some minutes before Sunday. Sunday, we can start our best 11 and run the score up to ridiculous levels. 14 day gap then. What the hell are we all going to do for 14 days?

Think about beating Brighton and then watching one or both of our title rivals slip a bit.

Ombudsam Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 I hope we play Konate for 90 minutes so I can see what we all do to each other again. 1 4

I wouldn’t be starting all of our best players in the Cup against those grocks. 1

I’d say if thryre not gonna start Kelleher, they’re more likely to start one of the younger goalies who are comfortable with the type of distribution that Ali and Kelleher can do. Adrian’s lack of ball playing skills takes a lot out of our defensive game 1
Conrad Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 (edited) Klopp never goes as weak as people think he will I'd expect Salah and Szoboslzai to get minutes Something like Kelleher Bradley Quansah Gomez Tsimikas Clark O'Connell Szoboslai Salah Gakpo Gordon Edited March 11, 2024 by Conrad 1

Salah, and Szoboszlai to get some minutes probably from the start and then off for the second half. Assume Gordon will play a part too, and Gakpo will likely start. Keep players like Endo, Mac Allister, VVD, Nunez and Diaz away. Gomez could do with a rest too, but will prob be needed.

YugoB Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Play Salah to get him some match sharpness, the rest should be U8s
Chewie Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Treat it as a light training session. Stay in 2nd gear. Keep the legs ticking over.

Eiler99 Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 If it's the same keeper we should play Gomez up front and tell him to shoot on sight. 1 1 1
