Arsenal vs Liverpool - Premier League, 4th February @ 4:30pm

My boy won tickets, on LFC members website, to watch the Arsenal game with Lawrenson and Grobbs at Anfield on Sunday.

Don't really want to do the drive, but it's his 18th coming up.

Feels weird doing the reverse trip to everyone else! But I suppose I wont be doing f*** all else anyhow.

We best not lose!

Huge game, hope we start as well as we did against Chelsea, we have options and we're in great form, but we have to take advantage of Arsenal who are more than likely going to act more than they did at Anfield.

Jota had an ice pack on his leg last night on the bench. He always puts a massive shift in and puts his body on the line. Need him to be fit for this.

Winning this would be absolutely massive. Gigantic. Very big.

He gets kicked and battered more than anyone except Macca, who takes a proper hammering

Yeah Jota and Mac Allister always play on the half turn so can invite those stupid tackles.

They really do take a pounding. Mac's face is Alan Brazil-red at the end of every game.

Nah. Wouldn't be a bad result if it happened, but I think we're better than them again, and a win would be monstrously big.

The only thing I’ll take is the wailing lamentation of their womenfolk

They used to have a screamer behind the goal at Highbury. I wonder if they moved her back at the new ground

Everytime the ball went near the goal it was like a Wilhelm painting

I would, if I was a massive fanny, but I'm not. I want us to step on their throats and wipe that smugness off their velcro haired Aldi Alonso of a manager.

Same team for me, only Robbo for Gomez.

Isn't that what they're in anyway? Only 2 teams fighting for the title me good ol' chap.

If they beat us they are right back in it though, 2 points back from us.

If we play like last night we should win but they will be better set up and put up much more of a fight than those Chelsea bums. A draw should be no disaster but with City you feel like we need to win all the games.

I've seen enough signs from Arsenal this season to believe they are (again) pretenders even if the table suggests they're still very much in and around the picture. Always felt the same way about Spurs and Villa too.

Ultimately the season will take it's toll on them and they'll all slowly drift away.

When we're at the level we're at and City are still getting all the help in the world from refs......then for me there's only 2 real challengers but no doubt they are a much better side than Chelsea and will prove to be a tougher challenge but not one we can't overcome....I mean we've already beaten a near full strength Arsenal side away already and if it weren't for terrible refereeing decisions it would've been 2 wins from 2.
