Laptop advice

After a new windows laptop for the in-laws ‘cos their current one is on its last legs. I’ve not bought a non-Mac laptop for about 15 years and FIL won’t change from Windows 

Nothing special, just email, browsing and libre office - but needs to be a 15” screen. 
 

Any recommendations? Pref around the £3-500 range 

Also any tips on back up and restore tools for transferring data to the new one? Windows got anything built into it these days?
