McBain Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 (edited) 3 bad performances in a row will almost certainly see points dropped Play well you c**** Edited December 7, 2023 by McBain 1
muleskinner Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 We will win comfortably. The relentless negativity on here is becoming ridiculous. 3 2 1

Begbie Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 They're missing kept players and are out of form. Hopefully the 12.30 impacts their crowd Give them no encouragement 1
Gethin Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Hoping the plan is to go as strong as possible here and as weak as possible on Thursday. For some reason there's a perception that this is an away we struggle in, but we've got a really good record there. They're on a poor run of form and managed by a f***ing k****ead. Let's go there and stuff 'em 1
Benzo-13 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 They’re turning on the owl. We should twist the knife.
Greenoak Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Another 12.30 kick off. So what % of 12.30 games are we up to now? Relentless picking us in these horrible games
Eiler99 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Would love one of those easy 5-0 wins where we go in front early and just cruise through the second half without breaking a sweat while Salah bags a hattrick with a big joyous smile on his face. Controversial, I know. 1
kop205 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Not a bad one for a 12.30 - didn't we win 7-0 last time we had one down there? Rather that than under the lights. Though agree with the general point, the number we get is absurd.

honourablegeorge Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 It's the f***ing Hodge, and they have taken to booing him because he's s***, and he has responded by claiming that the Palace fans have "been spoiled" in recent years by good results. Doucure is likely out for the season too. A good performance might get him the sack.

PaulMcC186 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 We were top of the league and pundits were saying no one can touch us. Then we drew with West Brom and soon after lost 6 in a row or something stupid.
Dominus Maximus Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 I’m looking for Darwin to get revenge on Andersen. Hopefully the mad b*****d can get a few goals this time. Gakpo was useless up top yesterday and Diaz has been ghosting it lately. We really miss Jota for this.
Gethin Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Looks like Palace played pretty much the same team for both the West Ham game on Sunday and Bournemouth last night. Means they'll either have to make a reasonable amount of changes or they're gonna be knackered.
Gethin Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Yeah I reckon it'll be something like Kelleher Trent Konate Virg Tsimi Endo Jones Szoboszlai Mo Nunez Diaz I'd have said Mac Allister would start if he hadn't got his injury but I think he'll be bench at most

Maddest of mad seasons that. 2 hours ago, Gethin said: Wasn't that a "COVID no crowd" one as well? Must have been actually, yeah.

Must have been actually, yeah. It was an awful season for enjoyment. After the initial happiness of football being back the no crowd thing got tiresome. Alisson's winner was still great.
Earl Hafler Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Konate's defensive stats for last night are really good but I hope we continue with Endo in there just to reduce the space we leave If he starts on Saturday, it'll be Konate's first time this season that he's started consecutive league games Endo, Jones, Gravenberch hopefully
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 got to play better than yesterday, they're in awful form but nothing less than a solid professional (win) please. we basically have a week off after this. can't be going in half-arsed

Gackpo looked better out wide than he did in the middle and better than Diaz who is struggling. Nunez caused his usual amount of chaos, but Mo is struggling . He doesn't seem able to beat his man or get a decent shot off. It might be worth a change of formation or starting a game with Sobozoloi on the right , then bringing Mo on 2nd half. It won't be a pretty game but we will get the points I reckon.
