I'd go relatively strong in this. If we win, we've definitely qualified and would win the group if Union SG don't win the other game.

The final two group games are in amongst a tough run of fixtures so not having to care about them so much would be good - and winning the group means we avoid the 2 leg play off games in February.

Something like this, hopefully get it done early and get subs on.

Kelleher

TAA Matip Gomez Tsimi

Gravenberch Endo Mac Allister

Mo Gakpo Diaz

I'd go complete b-team if possible. I know Klopp won't be I bloody well would.

That game against Bournemouth last week made us look leggy yesterday. Not the same intensity/conditions of course, but I'd be using this as a chance to give some of them a rest.

Don't want to see Salah even travelling.

Try telling Mo not to show up for the flight.

They could always hide his passport.

haha yeah he'll be itching to get a few after that performance yesterday.

We're just so in control of this group. Hoping he keeps at least some first teamers at home.

I have no problem with starting a few, as long as they are replaced at half time when we're 8-0 up, 6 tap ins from Darwin and a couple from Mo.

Although I'm not sure Darwin does tap ins. His goals from 3 yards out appear to be the ball hitting him rather than him hitting the ball. 😉

I’d normally agree but looking at that run of games coming up I’d prefer to just get this done

Yeah can’t disagree. Think something has to give though. Can’t be dropping points against Brentford.

Wouldn't surprise me if Mac Allister starts further forward so

              Endo

Szoboszlai     Mac Allister

If Grav is out for a while as the rumours suggest, I think it's time to give Endo a run at 6 and move Mac further forward.

Klopp says Virgil is ill but will be fine for Sunday. Jones out until after the international break. Grav may be fit for Sunday but if not will definitely be fit after the international break.

So all three will be like new signings this time next year.

I'm in the go strong & win the group now camp

It's Toulouse (A) then Brentford (H) on Sunday

The last 2 group games fall like this -

Sat 25 - City (A)

Thu 30 - LASK (H)

Sun 3 - Fulham (H)

Weds 6 - Sheff U (H)

Sat 9 - Palace (A)

Thu 14 - USG (A)

Sun 17 - ManU (H)

Be nice to not have to care about LASK & USG at all & be able to focus 100% on the league games

Gravenberch minor niggle possible for the weekend according to Jurgen and Virg is ill. Jones back after the international break.

Hope Grav is okay for Brentford. Not sure I fancy a Dom, Endo, Elliot midfield.

Although might actually be brilliant.

What a rollercoaster this post is.

Oh yeah, Mac Allister's suspended for Brentford isn't he? Gakpo dropping back is also a possibility

Gakpo dropping back, Diaz starting at left mid, Trent in midfield are the three options beyond the likely midfield.
