0-8

That result is coming at some stage this season. Maybe a couple of times.  Have a funny feeling about the manc game this season and the thought of it brings a big smile to my face at random times. Mo and Darwin will go postal together at some stage. Everything they touch will be a goal.

I've a feeling Mo may not start this, I'd be surprised if the intention was for him to play 90 against Bournemouth in those conditions so he gets a rest in advance of going strong against Toulouse to secure the group. Having said that he'd play every game if he could, so we'll see....

Ali

TAA Konate VVD Tsimi

Gravenberch Endo Mac Allister

Gakpo Nunez Jota

Mo will play and be rested v Toulouse I reckon. Klopp will be looking after Jota and Gakpo until the return of Diaz.

Imagine telling Mo he doesn’t start against a team he could bag 3 ,4 or 5 against. He’d be steaming. 😄

I thought this was 2pm Sunday and not on the tele box. Very pleased that I shall be spending Sunday afternoon watching this with a bowl of crisps and a boat load of beer.

I don't think we see Diaz this side of the international break. That being the case I'd start Mo against Toulouse and Brentford. He can have 25 mins against Luton when they're tired.

Just need Ten Hag to cling on for another month or so.

And no plastic pitch.

First time I ever saw Liverpool was at Luton on that plastic pitch. Lost 1-0. 1988/89 season?

Horrible ground back then. Bad place to get to, get into and get out of.

I was on their books as a young lad during the plastic pitch era.

I was a center half, and I liked to slide-tackle.

Never ended well.

How many skin grafts?

Nowhere near your level, but we played indoor 7 a side on a plastic pitch up in Omaha. Took some painful skin removals to convince me not to go to ground.

We had a really good football team in my year (that I wasn't in 😂), made the latter stages of the Welsh Schools Cup most years & won it once. Loads of the better players were on Luton's books for some reason, think they had a really strong scouting presence in South Wales at that point.

Every game.

Physio used to put powder on your cuts to try and dry them up.

You never laid on your side at night, otherwise you'd stick to your bed sheets.

The only lad that got taken on when I was there, was the lad who's mother was knocking off the head scout.

That was back in the days of Jimmy Ryan, who was manager, with John Faulkner.

It was the "weeping" of the skin burns that drove me mad. I wasn't allowed to sit on furniture without a towel because of the potential staining.

My thoughts too. The Reds on the march, a cheese platter to feast on, nice bottle of red... I might even light the first roaring fire of the season to complete the "all's well with the world" vibe*.

* I know the world is turning to s*** but we have to take our pleasures when we can in this downward spiral to oblivion.

1130 am for me. I'm thinking early lunch and then a couple of beers 2nd half. Followed by a mid afternoon nap.

Sounds like the mancs midfield.
