Guys, am having a meltdown. BootserIII has been on a slow descent into the abyss of drugs. Started on weed, you have to start somewhere, and over the last few years has descended to coke etc and then, drug of choice became Ketamine. This has been going on for about the last six years. As a family we are very tight and supportive but he ended up getting to such a nadir that he stole from us to feed his habit. He is a good kid but his addiction made him reclusive, manic, untrustworthy, dishonest, thieving, repellent and it got to the stage where I was ready to knock the f*** out of him.

You get to the point when you shout and scream and cry but the addiction always wins. Always. He is my son and I love him to bits.

He is currently in rehab in England and is doing brilliantly. Guys, please be vigilant if you have kids. If you suspect they are dabbling then come down on them like a ton of bricks. Tough love and all that.
