Not a chance, unless they expand the Euros to 64 teams.

Are there 64 European countries? Invite some overseas teams to make up the numbers if not.

there were 24 teams in Euro 2020 - 3 of which were home nations sides. Not a massive leap to make that 5 - you've still got 19 other nations places available

 

and then - instead of playing friendlies we have a home nations tournament on the qualifers match dates

still not sure what the qualifying rules are going to be.

..last i saw there were 2 automatic spots between the 5 host nations. So, if a couple of the host nations qualify from the groups then it leaves 3 teams vying for the last two automatic spots, meaning the s***est will likely lose out. I'm sure UEFA will find some way of making sure that doesnt happen though.

so - make all 5 try and qualify normally, if they all make it through, now worries, if only 3 qualify then give the other 2 spots to the 2 that don't as 'hosts' ?
