defo - they must be shot after yesterday so it's almost a complete rotation

Jones won't play for a few weeks so he starts and jota won't play next weekend so he starts

This.

Also Gakpo won't play for a few weeks (at best) so he starts...

Kellher

Trent  Konate  Quansah  Tsimi

Grav Endo Jones

Doak Jota Elliot

Rest anyone who ran around loads yesterday and Nunez

Pretty much that for me, with a strong bench.

I might go Gomez at RB and give Trent the extra time to make sure he's properly fit for Brighton

f*** knows.  I miss tickets me.

Someone else has added me as the F&F nonsense to box me off last week and now our kid can’t send me his one for tomorrow and reckons somethings gone digitally wrong.  He suggests I go the window.  Like I’m going to stand there at my age on a queue holding my phone out saying “mister, can you fix me app and me downloads please it won’t let me go the footy match, mister”

load of cack

you must now seek out the techiest (matchgoer) you know

even if you despise them

and throw yourself on their mercy

if you can’t identify that particular intersection, just go for the techiest person, even if it means going to the Uni and ‘enticing a nerd’

good thing they’ve stamped out touting altogether though isn’t it?

makes this all worthwhile

Got things to do.

Researching important things down the library like why did Wavertree and Garston stay Tory post-war up until the late sixties when everywhere else had long gone labour?

Important stuff.

How would you go about finding the answer to your question ?

Ate there documents which talk about the political issues discussed locally in the 50s. Campaign leaflets etc ?

At a complete guess it will be the Garstonites perception of what was happening beyond otterspool in L8. The Tory candidates will have talked about immigration.

Listening to interviews in the archive department with figures such as Margaret Simey and her husband and John Hamilton.  Some are shocking quality so takes all day.

Waveo i suspect much of what you say is right but Garston was a distance away to be fair.  Was much more well to do though in those days, where people aspired to live if they were making a few quid.  Very suburban and lots of those were prods who couldn’t stop voting along sectarian lines.  In Wavertree it is said that the Jewish community moved en masse from Brownlow Hill after the war to up past the Bluecoat and they were apparently very conservative kiddas, which seems unusual, but they’re spoken of as a few thousand votes that can’t be won.  Also there was a pocket of Liberals off allerton road that I’m wondering whether they were Welsh descendants or quakers.

But this is all an excuse to listen to Lord and Lady Simey.  Properly fancy her tbh but he’s a good lad as well.  Got a tape to listen to today where she’s 95 and addressing a class at Bellerive of 13 year old girls and happily the teacher has taped it.  Boss.
