That was his 17th professional match, with the other 16 coming in League 1 for Bristol Rovers.  Wow, it's not even like he went away and played a full season in the Championship.

True enough. But I've always felt it's an abysmal approach to management and an awful way to treat the players involved. Well below a man like Klopp!

Having watched a couple of YouTube vids before yesterday's game and learnt everything about the lad, I decided he's a successor to Matip.

His dad is friends with a girl I went all through school with on Facebook. Her lad was at the academy til he was about 16. They're all buzzing for him.
