Mo  Nunez (c) Diaz

I know Macca does marathons, but starting a PL game...

You never know, we might have Konate and Thiago available

Gonna be tough this, without the two lads at the back.

Gomez looking good yesterday was a timely boost.

Gomez going up for corners yesterday was funny

175 Liverpool appearances, let's be kind and say 4 corners per appearance. 700 times he's trotted back unsuccessfully yet still he believes

Villa are strong down the channels especially left side with Watkins their new lad Diaby. Konate and Virge missing is a nightmare. Another high scoring game I expect. Home win.

If actually swap Mo and Nunez around. Get Mo back in the middle and allow Nunes to attack from the right like he did yesterday.

I don't really agree with you as a starting position. He can drift wide and not be as easy to pick up if he starts central and he has less defensive work to do.

Officials for this are:

Ref: Simon Hooper. Restored to the ranks after being stood down following the non-award of the penalty in the opening ManU v Wolves game. In fairness, he was good last season. Overweight though

VAR: The almost permanently shed-bound Darren England

Made me laugh!

He does seem okay when I see him. One of the few that doesn't look affronted when a player speaks back to him.

The 3 points against Newcastle will mean so much more if we beat these too. It'll be a tough game, for sure

it's imperative we beat them to back up that Newcastle win. Announce ourselves as title challengers this season, which we should be.
