Ripley Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Has retired. can’t be arsed looking for the welcome thread Gethin or whether anyone else has mentioned it. Before the bad injury he may have been the best dm in the world. A smiling yellow card against any dangerous counter attack and a great lad. 1
Bootser Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Hands up, I thought he was pis h at first but the he grew into the team to the extent that I was disappointed if he didn’t start.
Zoob Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Given the season we've had with injuries and the like, seeing this thread pop up, I'm honestly just relieved to see that he didn't die in a freak accident or something. Really grew as a player, and seems a jolly good human too.
Maharajkumar of Vizianagram Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Master of the perfectly weighted forward pass to someone in a pocket of space between the lines 1
Gerrardrules Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 He really bossed the midfield just before his injury.
muleskinner Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 What's caused his heart condition? Terrible for him at such a young age.

Tosh Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 He’d still be a better midfield option than Naby 1 2 1
Hassony Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 One of my favourite ever Liverpool players, massive heart and great attitude, and very underrated It's not a surprise that he's loved and appreciated by most Liverpool, lazio and Gremio fans 2 3
Gethin Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 At least he'll be able to spend more time with Barnsey_10 2 1
Murphman Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 I watched him 'frolicking' with Moreno and their mates in Paris before the match, clearly a great lad. Lived in Mascherano's shadow for quite a bit, ultimately he wasn't as good as Masch but nonetheless, before that injury slowed him down he was a great player. BTW Ripley he's called Lucas, stop typing without your glasses on.
épieur Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 One of my favs. Too bad he didn't have the legs for a klopp team anymore when it happened. For a short while he was an outstanding player. 3 1
