You have to wonder. Lots of people would still reject a name changed bauble, but it’s just low hanging fruit isn’t it.

The ivory towers revere the old empire and would probably like a new one. That's why they don't change it.

It seems to be such a blind spot for a lot of decent people, being offered one of these.
