Building a website

Mrs B needs a website for her business. Nothing too fancy, couple of pages explaining the business no payments or bookings. I know bugger all about this but presuming this is something I could do myself?

Are there any good online sites that provide templates and such like or is it better and less stressful to just pay someone to do it?
