Just done the combined team on BBC. I charitably selected 8 of their pricks, would take 8-3 on Sunday

Casemiro, Fernandes and Martinez I would say. Can’t think who your other 5 are! Maybe you are basing it on form?

Rashford is better than anyone we have as a left forward. I wouldn't have Martinez in a combined team. Van Dijk and Konate would walk into their team. So would an on form Gomez or Matip but their form isn't good.

Watched the highlights of their game against West Ham and Utd were fortunate - WH defence capitulated in the last 15, their keeper pulled his arms away from a save he could have made easily and they had many chances to score

We can win this if we don't s*** the bed

This fixture has been pretty straightforward the past few seasons. Think we will have to be at our best to beat them Sunday. Think they are due for a back to reality loss. Hopefully we can oblige.

I think Rashford is on the form of his life but won't remain at that level. I prefer Diaz for left forward based on ability and suitability for that position.

I'd be:

Alisson

Trent Martinez VVD Robertson

Fernandes Casemiro Thiago

Salah Nunez Diaz

Yeah that's what I had bar a nod to Rashford's form given Diaz was injured. No one would have been making that call pre world cup mind.

And Konate over the little centre back...who has improved from a level of weekly humiliation.  Low bar

Based on a few months of Diaz's form?

Yes, I prefer Diaz on the left of a fully functioning Jurgen Klopp front 3 to Rashford, based on a few months of his form and a few years of Rashford's.

I can see why you would prefer Rashford though, but I bet he's poor again soon.

Yes, Konate hopefully puts a good, long run together soon and probably is ahead of Martinez.
