psl Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Wonder if Carvalho starts again. He is the seemingly obvious candidate on the left of this formation but has been struggling to make an impact and another early substitution for him last night.

I like Carvalho but I don’t think he’s ready. Maybe get Mane back on an emergency loan. 2 2

Thought he did well first half but was at the level of the rest second.
Ripley Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Got the A team for this Tierney and Deano Jürgen will be delighted

Thought he did alright, and better than Curtis did in his place. If we’re going to go with Salah and Nunez centrally eventually we’re going to need someone coming in between the lines to receive the ball and think he could do well in that role
Guatered Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 One lovely bit of skill when he beat Rice on a break away. Though at times he looked lightweight. I think getting him games now though is also a bit of an investment for the future - he looks like he could be some player once he settles in
growler Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 He was solid, without being spectacular. It’s progress for a young lad.
Conrad Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Thought it was his best game for us so far, actually.
psl Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Klopp said Darwin had treatment for his hamstring yesterday so 'we'll see'.
Romario Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Just now, psl said: Klopp said Darwin had treatment for his hamstring yesterday so 'we'll see'. Ridiculous amount of injuries. Have we changed the medical back room staff over the summer?

Romario Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Probably need to sign about 45 players this Christmas and summer just to have a first 11. It's October and so far we have Diaz, Jota, Nunez, Konate, Matip, Chamberlain, Jones, Keita, Melo, Robertson, Trent and Thiago all out at some stage.
psl Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Mo through the middle against Forest is exciting though.

On Darwin Nunez's fitness… He is one of the cases where we need to have a look because he was not injured, but he felt something and I don't know if he feels that still today and what the medical department tells me then, we have to see.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 doesn't help that we've played 6 games already in October anyway - score goals, win at football. please
muleskinner Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Pitch inspection tonight apparently. Its been pissing it down almost non stop for 2 days.
PaulMcC186 Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 It better not be cancelled. I turned down a party in Manchester after Warehouse Project to get home for a few hours sleep before the game.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 there's really no excuse for a PL game to be called off for rain - do they not have drainage & covers and s***?
Tobes Rafa Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Not in the UK anyway when it’s not exactly an unusual occurrence
