I read that a red to a manager isn't an automatic suspension, it depends on the ref's report.

Tuchel & Marsch have both had one match bans this season having been sent off - don't see any reason why Klopp will escape with less

Gomez and Elliott should keep their places. Trent for Milner, Nunez for Jota, Henderson for Thiago or Fabinho whichever needs a rest more.

There are a couple of games on tonight so might be worth giving it a go. I know the BT Sport app gives me the option of watching live or watching from the start so would imagine something similar

What’s are the options for this game ?

Are these the main ones?

- TAA or Milner as Gomez has to be CB

- Hendo/Elliott/Thiago/Fabinho are all fit so can be a 433 or 442

- Carvalho is option on left. Either as a 442 or higher in a 433

- Upfront we have Nunez/Salah/Firmino that can all play central in a 2 or Salah goes back to the right in a 433

West Ham haven’t clicked this season and this has all the hallmarks of a recipe that will appeal to Moyes - he’ll see this as a chance to frustrate a Liverpool weakened attack with no Diaz/Jota and likely to see Nunez as someone still trying to find form. If they can stifle the attack we field then we might force things and leave ourselves open for counters - it’s a set of circumstances that will appeal to him.

 

So thinking what West Ham might want to do;

- I’d want Thiago in midfield.

- I’d start Carvalho on the left and Elliott right to give flexibility across 442/433 

- Could he go Nunez left and Salah right in a 433 ? Feels like a 75th min tactic and not something to open with

 

Are there other obvious options I’m missing?
