E bikes

Does anyone have one of these electronic bikes.  I like the idea of cycling but with having M.E. I can only go so far before I am goosed. I  reckon on the flat I would be ok but I live up in North of the City and its hilly as f***, so I know coming hone would bust me. Any ideas on the do's, don't or indeed and auld slabbering is welcome.
