I have always had a soft spot for Wolves as my mum is from that area and have been to Molyneux a couple of times years ago, same as I will look out for Shrewsbury scores for same reason.

I now have reason to change, my young cousin starts a new job next week with Norwich City as a Youth and Community Development Coach, he was spotted doing sessions in his last job and "headhunted". He does goalkeeping coaching and they obviously liked what they saw, will also be doing some stuff with first team goalies on top of his main role.

Great opportunity for him as he is only 28, first real job "in the game" although he did some stuff up here before he moved down to that area helping out a respected goalkeeping coach up here.

Here's hoping they go up this season and I might get an away day to see the Mighty Reds in Norwich 😄

This make libero a potential ITK. Quick, everyone un-ignore him!

Seriously, good news. We look forward to your 2030 announcement of how he's replacing Achterberg.

My youngest quite incredibly isn't bothered about football one bit. Whilst at UEA he got a job at Norwich City as a steward, the boss sussed he wasn't bothered about watching the game so made him stand in for him at the entrance once the game had kicked off while he buggered off to watch The Canaries.

I have to admit my 2nd team allegiances have now changed, he has only gone and been poached by Ipswich, more money/hours and better prospects for the long term. More first team involvement/opportunities. 2 season tickets as part of the deal as well.

Brøndby is my second team because that’s where I was raised but Danish footy is so boring I can’t even watch it anymore. Plus I’m so old now I no longer feel attracted to the whole hooligan culture. And Brøndby have a lot of hooligan culture. There’s nothing more unappealing than a grown man getting aggresive at a football match.

I've been following Fiorentina. Gives me a stake in Serie A which has proven to be an enjoyable league to follow.

In the past I've followed South Melbourne in the Victorian state league and kept an eye on both Melbourne teams in the A League but none of them have stuck for various reasons. If, against all odds, South Melbourne were able to play in the national league I'd probably be a match goer though.

It’s bad enough following us, don’t know how you can open up your souls to anything else.

Innit. A second team has to be a million miles away from your first in every way. Having moved to Maidenhead I now have National League a mile from my house, not only that, a couple of mates who go every week AND you can drink your head off during the game if you wish. My only problem being that as a lad who grew up in Slough I have a 'thing' about Maidenhead, I played against their reserves a couple of times and the hatred is ingrained, or at least it was. I might try and get over it for the sake of the lager and 5 minute journey home.

I have the same issue,  I'm within walking distance of F.C. United - they're a well set up club, do loads in the community, for instance all of Rashford's food bank stuff is stored and organised from there.

But after saying all that, they are F.C. United!!!!

No comparison mate if I lived near you I'd move rather than support them, foodbanks or not.

I remember the first time I came to Melbourne I went to a couple of South Melbourne (or Hellas, as everyone seemed to call them) games. I think Ange may have been there then. It was the days of Paul Trimboli, and the rivalry with Carlton.

I haven’t bothered with either of the two big clubs.

Was about to post about Ipswich, too. My niece has been playing for their youth development squad, and while that hasn't made me care about the Ipswich men's seniors, my sister's family have taken to following them as a second club.

Yeah I've tried with both Victory and City and gone to games but it's always felt too plasticky for me to seriously invest emotionally.  The CFG factor is a further turn off in the latter case.

Hellas felt like a real club with its own legacy and rich history and I got really deeply invested in them for a while.  But it was hard to sustain the passion while they were playing in front of 500 people in a stadium that holds 15,000 with no possibility of promotion to a closed shop national league.  It's a shame what happened to clubs like that.

Huddersfield need to win to stay up but probably doomed due to GD anyway. Leeds at home to Southampton, have a better GD than Ipswich. Will Huddersfield want to do Leeds a favour?

Who knows??

I have watched more championship football this year than I ever have, some of the teams try to play decent football, Ipswich "should" have too much for Huddersfield but pressure does horrible things to teams.

It's been a good season in the division. Last 6 weeks particularly.

These are the clubs who are going to send Everton down, so I need the most serious ones promoted. Off to a bad start with Leicester, in terms of historical seriousness… who’s the best bets for the other 2?

Soton, Norwich and WBA, possibly Hull if results go their way
