And here's what the Juve fans on Juventuz forums have to say about this exciting new signing.

From Barcelona to Juventus and then Liverpool.

I'm telling you guys, this average mofo has the best agent in the world.

Quote

Thank you Klopp and Liverpool

Media reports dry loan

Quote

It doesn't even matter if it's as dry as a nun's crusty old c*** at this point - the important matter at hand is that we will not have to witness Arturd in a Juventus jersey this season.

Quote

He is a technical player and quite good for possesion based football. He will suit Liverpool. Curious if he can adapt with Klopp Gegenpressing but if he can train well he will be improved there. They get free replacement and for Premier League standard his wage still normal
It's a win win solution for us and Liverpool

Quote

he wont be in the front doing all the press, but as long as they have the possession he will be ok

This is how Liverpool's downfall begins.

Not that anyone's complaining.

Quote

Lol yeah. Reminds me when they used to sign guys like Christian Eriksen and Jonjo Shelvey back in the early 00s.

It’s an awful signing. Lucky for them it’s a loan. But I’m glad we don’t have to see his ugly face for another season.

Quote

Is there an option to buy or am I asking too much?

Quote

He's a player who can't pass forwards or run. Imagine he's suddenly like Gerrard in a Liverpool shirt.

Who will be blamed first? Allegri? Medical staff?

Quote

Its not a bad thing though, Arthur is a player with quality but he needs a specific way to play.
Liverpool are attacking minded which means he`ll have to be able to pass forward which means -> If he does well, we could sell him and clubs will pay a good fee.
Of course there is the option of not playing well or too many injuries which will result in a wasted year (although we wont pay his wages for a year which is also good)

Quote

He definitely has the talent to explode at some point, it might be at Liverpool.

Quote

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I can’t wait to see this man in a Klopp geggenpressing team. He will be out of breath by the 3rd minute. That’s if he’s even not injured before the game starts. Absolutely out of nowhere. Liverpool must be absolutely desperate.

Quote

If he can stay injury free (big if) he will turn into a decent player is my prediction. He has the technical prerequisites, needs help physically and tactically, maybe mentally too lol.

Clearly useless here and somehow we like to collect 8 CMs, as the only team in the world. Now get rid of Rabies/Kennie/Zak too.

I mean, at least some of it's mildly positive

This has to be a massive smokescreen, doesn't it?

Is this where we are now as a club? Taking players on loan who can't get a game at their own club. Barcelona didn't give him a sniff, Juventus fans deliriously happy to see him leave, even if for only 10 months.

Not good

I hope I'm wrong, but I see another Aquilani situation here.

It’s amazing that we’ve banged the drum on our midfield needing a very very very specific kind of player. So specific that we haven’t bought one and then up rocks Arthur!

Who knows maybe he’ll be great.

Aquilani was a large amont of money for a player signed to replace Alonso. He was a massive fanny and sold for a massive loss.

It's nothing like the same situation

I'm purely talking about the player side. The money side is no comparison. This guy, from what I've seen watching his occasional games for Barcelona, is definitely not what we need. He is not suited for the Premier League, not even Bournemouth, never mind Liverpool.

I’d rather Barkley. At least he knows the league. Could be like a younger Milner.

He's a stop-gap loan signing, he'll do for now. We've left it too late to do this properly.

He can't be as s*** as Aquilani.

I'd rather have the older Milner, and we give another one of the youngsters a go in midfield. 🤨

We win 2 domestic cups, we are runners up in the other competitions, and this is what we are doing!!

It's a f***ing disgrace, and extremely short sighted.

He’s backup. Not what we wanted but this all fits the pattern that the lad at Dortmund is ours in 12 months.

My expectations were so low that i’m surprised we are even getting a stopgap in on loan.
