Hopefully the travelling fans don't get stabbed

Don't think they're as good as they have been in recent years, Osimhen is the danger man

We never look like getting anything over there.

We’ve played well against them once recently as far as I can remember

Didn't know they had renamed their ground after Maradona.

Yeah that's weird right?

Ours too.  Everyone’s.

He would have played for Chelsea and both of the mancs if he’d been around 20 years later so that’s worth a cheer.

Thankfully Messi didn't play for any of them.

Yeah but he was Barca from a kid.  Maradona would have been weighed in to f*** to come to England.

Oh yeah I'm not disagreeing.  I'm sure Maradonna would have ended up at one of them.

It was never on the cards back then was it?  I think the papers tried to throw Tottenham’s name round once or twice but no one ever seriously had their eye on him for here even before Mexico 86.  No way a kid could run the show at Wembley like he did and get out of the country without some f***er signing them up.

Maradona almost signed for Sheffield United when he was 17. A deal was agreed for £200k but their board wouldn't pay that much for a kid in the end and so they signed Alex Sabella instead.

Sheffield United nearly signed him
