Cobs Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 We know what’s coming at us. If we start timid like at United I’ll go feckin postal. it’s gonna be Yard-dog Central and they’ll need dealing with. I fancy Mo to score one and Nunez (beginning a long penance) one from the bench. 1
PaulMcC186 Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 I don't want us giving away any stupid fouls. Only make tackles you're going to win. They'll try waste as much as Newcastle did.
Tommok Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Be harsh on Bobby to drop him after his last two performances but you'd want to see Nunez play of course.

Trying to think how we might have them both on the pitch but that would probably mean Diaz missing out and Nunez on the left but I'd like to keep Diaz in. I think Nunez on as an impact sub when the defence gets tired is probably the way to go. How long before Jota is fit? That's going to make selections interesting when he's back, if Bobby is still firing. . Edited August 31, 2022 by Tommok

Romario Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Klopp needs to call out the potential time wasting in his pre match. Fake head injuries, fake cramp and goalies taking minutes at a time. Hope we score in the 99th minute. Nunez too although a comfy 5-0 would be better for the health.

We can do both. 5th goal in 99th minute. After shot hits the post, bounces off pickfords arms and rolls in.

Anyone you don't notice is fine. Oliver is OK, Pawson same. I'm keen to see more of the Aussie fella Gillett but he's not meant to have got off to a great start.

growler Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Just for kicks, let’s try that scoring first and early thing again.
Begbie Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Same team with Milner or Jones replacing Hendo then. I'd start Jones but think we'll got with Milner, who I prefer to bring on later in the game. I'd also be tempted to start Matip for Gomez. Any other rotations can wait a bit

Could be worse these days Jared Gillett is doing fine but may have an exclusion as he was based locally while doing his doctorate at JMU. 1
ChrisC Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Think this could be a record low for the ‘ball in play’ stat.

jonnyc Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 There is a difference between s***e and corrupt right enough. 1
Nebraska Red Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Anybody else liking the new ref's kit? They need a sponsor though, and mascots like they do in some Serie A games. I would imagine that the the referee mascots would all be called Simon or Crispin.
