stressederic Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Not just me then who is yet to fully recover my energy for the new season...? 3
Murdoch Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Doesn't feel like a proper game tbh. Providing we don't get shown up, couldn't care less* *Unless Nunez scores 5; in which case it's an omen
Cam Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Think we'll start with at least one of Elliott & Carvalho to see if it gives us a better handle on the midfield against them. And also keep Nunez in reserve to avoid stringent comparisons with Haaland. Probably start Matip to make up for the CL.
Hassony Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 I'm ready and raring to go They've only had two preseason games, so we should be fitter, they'll take an early lead but we'll score 2 goals late on in the second half when they get tired City 6 - liverpool 2 2
PaulMcC186 Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Our bench is far better than City's. If we don't win the league we've probably failed.

Smith Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Predicting a Haaland hattrick. Who is Davies on the bench, Sammy?
Jarg Armani Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Adrian in goal will probably be the deciding factor 1

Tommok Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Having not seen him play at all for us yet, bit disappointed that Nunez isn't starting. A confidence boosting win would clearly be great but just getting through it without any injuries will be fine by me. As long as we don't get a proper hiding obviously.
Falconhoof Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 I expect them to win. We don't have anything different to last season, except for on the bench.

Begbie Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 If we win its a morale boosting victory ahead of the season...we're living in Pep's head rent free Lose and its a meaningless friendly and Adrian's fault 1
