Changing Job career

Been in IT since I was 18, been an IT manger for the last 20 years in different companies (currently 53),last few 1 - 1's even after challenging the negative from my line manager who hated in covid as a garden centre we were allowed to open and his wife who owns the company had me working with customers, stepping up to be centre manager a few days and generally enjoyed other things than IT, 1 -1 were about how I was not doing my role even though it had changed and how I don't help, lead to a massive row a few weeks ago with a line drawn in the sand, I started to look at a prison officers job, 6 months on after interviews and test, today was a medical test and somehow I managed to pass the running aspect, thank god for walking, now is the choice, move out of my comfort zone of IT to a different world or stay, surely some of you have had made the leap out of a job career to something new
