I think they have breached privacy? Anyone have any thoughts?

On Friday a I created an account with them, to buy some capsules for my dad for fathers day.

Unbeknown to me, on the same day he went to the London Store and bought some capsules himself.  He gets home and tried to log into the app, and he couldn't, so he rang their support line, and they said his email address was incorrect, and they had my one on file for him - the one I created that same day.  I used an email address he doesn't know so he didn't twig it was mine - but that's not important.  They reset it, he logs in and can see what I ordered, so the surprise of my gift was no longer a surprise!  I of course can't now log in, as my account has been given to him.

Due to me asking for an order to be sent to my dad, they seem to have changed my account - surely Nespresso  shouldn't be able to do this?
