Teaching jobs in Liverpool

Hey all...

My girlfriend finished her teaching degree and got a first and is currently doing her PGCE which is shortly finishing up... She has been applying for full time teaching roles in Liverpool and not getting much luck despite her excellent Uni degree mark and experience as a parent governor in her sons school... She is desperate to get into a school and have her own class..... Issue is there are plenty in the same boat.

She has applied to a fair few and waiting to hear back from some but it seems that a lot of schools can't be arsed letting you know if you have even been shortlisted or not. 

She has had two interviews which didn't progress anywhere due to one preferring someone who was already working within the school and the other preferring someone with experience..

In many jobs getting that first break is hard work and can be a f***er, but massive relief when it happens... 

My question is, are there any teachers on here in Liverpool who can give any heads up for roles or opportunities within their schools? 

Or even just advice from anyone who has done the same thing, things to consider etc..
