London Saturday night tips

As it’s been many years since I last went out on a Saturday night in London, where would be the best central-ish area to head to where places stay open past eleven?

Unsurprisingly this question is in relation to the League Cup Final, so who else is likely to be out and about that Saturday night? I’ve a hotel booked in Farringdon with a few people (including my wife and nephew), but want somewhere lively for the evening. That night is even my birthday, so you can all buy me a pint
